Stand for Children Endorses Forsberg
Oregon City News recently published a letter to the editor with Stand for Children's endorsement of Toby Forsberg.
From the Endorsement:
“After a very thorough questionnaire and follow-up, hour-long interview with both the candidates for the Oregon House District 39 seat, our Canby Stand for Children team of volunteers strongly endorses Toby Forsberg.
His campaign slogan, 'Beyond Business As Usual' and his interview with us conveyed this new kind of smart thinking about accountability in government.
He's also a moderate who's clearly shown an ability to work to secure bipartisan cooperation.
Toby's clearly expressed commitments to help Oregon's public education reach 'World Class' status squares very well with Stand's goal to help our school system reach the top 10 in the country. He also has clear and specific ideas and commitments to work toward helping all of Oregon's children have access to health care.
Toby Forsberg meets these high qualifications. Look for opportunities to meet and talk personally with Toby as he goes door-to-door in the Oregon City area. Once you do, you'll agree with Stand for Children's assessment that he's absolutely the right person for the House District 39 seat."
