Lynn Howe (HD 6) & John Kroger to Hold Town Hall on addressing Oregon’s Meth Crisis
Lynn Howe, Democratic Candidate for the Oregon House (HD 6, Medford) invites you to join her, Democratic Attorney-General Candidate John Kroger, and Medford’s local law enforcement leaders for a Town Hall to discuss the Meth Crisis that is facing Oregon.
Every Year, meth costs us hundreds of millions of dollars on prisons, law enforcement, health care, and lost of work force productivity. Meth is the biggest cause of property crime and identity theft in the state. It is also the single greatest cause of serious child abuse in Oregon. Meth is one of the reasons that Oregon recently received a “D” grade on a child welfare report card. This is unacceptable.
Join us to discuss the facts about meth in our community, innovative solutions at the local level, the trends in drug crime, sensible sentencing policies, and drug treatment plans.
