Last Week in the News!
All around the state exciting things are happening in the Oregon House Races!
• Hanten Day (Democrat – HD 19) has found a unique way to celebrating his district. From his news release:
Democratic Party candidate in House District 19, Hanten Day (HD), has reserved the 19th day of every month as "House District 19 Day" (HD19 Day). He will meet constituents on those days in locations throughout District 19. The second HD19 Day will take place Sat. July 19th in Morningside Park, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm (Pringle and Ewald). HD encourages citizens from District 19 to attend and share their issues and concerns with him.
Day deeply believes that the primary job of all elected representatives is to “truly represent the people in their District” and, once elected, will continue HD19Day to facilitate contact with his constituents in HD 19.
Day emphasizes, "My top priority will always be to listen to my constituents. I have faithfully done this while serving as a school board director and I will continue to do it as a citizen representative.”
