Charles Lee pushes City of Keizer to Take a Stand on Predatory Lenders.
The Statesman Journal reported today on Charles Lee's leadership pushing the Keizer City Council to pass an ordinance that will rein in payday lenders. Lee is running a very strong race to unseat Republican Kim Thatcher in HD 25 (Keizer, St. Paul, Newberg).
Thatcher made it clear that she sides with the predatory lending industry when she voted against the bi-partisan statewide payday loan bill in the May special session.
